Privacy Policy

Mumbl ("we", "us", "our") operates the Mumbl Windows application and website. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is handled.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: email address and authentication token when you sign in.
• Billing data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your payment card details.
• Usage telemetry: session counts, feature usage, and error reports, only if you opt in. Never includes dictation content.

2. Audio and transcription

Audio captured via push-to-talk is streamed to our transcription API over an encrypted TLS connection. We do not store audio recordings at any point. Transcriptions are processed and immediately discarded once delivered to your cursor. We do not use your dictations to train or fine-tune any machine learning models.

3. Local storage

Mumbl optionally caches recent transcripts on your local machine for up to 7 days to allow quick re-insertion. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it. You can disable this in Settings → General.

4. Third-party services

• Stripe for payment processing.
• Groq / proprietary ASR for transcription. Data is processed under our data processing agreement.
• Language model API for mode rewrites. Requests are not logged or used for training under our agreement.

5. Your rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing privacy@getmumbl.com. We will action requests within 30 days.
